Hi everyone. The name's Tod, and I've been a GRiSO owner since I bought a new 1100 back in January 2007. Yellow (cos it's the fastest colour), and with a Quill tri-oval titanium can. Also fitted a power commander and O2 optimiser to sort out the popping on decel. Main use nowadays is for long runs back to my homeland (Wales), and for trips into France, and this year I'm planning on a trip to the Eagles nest in the Bavarian Alps. Other than that, not much to report on the mechanical bits as PPPPPP!

Thanks for the welcome. As for all the Peeeees.
Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.
I didn't wait for my swing arm bearings to leave me screwed,
Same goes for the steering bearings, suspension link, etc.
just keep on top of things in the quiet months of winter. I use
The VDSTS software to look and reset the electrickery and
Always use 10/60 oil. Only done 25,000+ miles to date, but as I
said earlier, I just use it for the longer trips. My ride to work
commuter is a wee H***a.

Welcome Tod.....yeah, post some pics of yer yellow when you can, always good to see what others are riding.

Have yet to see one of those in the flesh in my neck of the woods. I did encounter what appeared to be a very well kept red 1100 today while on my way to work. Always great to see them on the road in any color, especially in winter.

Cheers & enjoy!

Thanks 1151. Will do some pics on my rest days. Shifts screw my weekends most of the time. But just can't bring myself to subject the GRiSO to our shitty salt encrusted roads, I'll never get enough time to clean the crap off.

Wahaaaay! Managed to get these uploaded from my phone. Arn't I the smart arse‼️ First piccie is from a view overlooking Gloucester and Cheltenham, with the Malvern hills in the background. The second is from my beloved Brecon Beacons, the old prowling ground of my youth, (sigh) many moons ago.

Oddly enough, such is possible only with a yellow GRiSO.      cheers

I've only seen one that color in the flesh.  In Conegliano a few years ago.  Liked it then; even better now.

I had choice back in 2007. Black, red, or yellow. The three were together in a row, in the dealers showroom. No contest. It had to be yellow. The red was on my mind, but......
