I had mine done in December and absolutely love them, the bike looks much, much better in my opinion. The bike smells different now but not bad...just different. It had a unique odor to begin and now it's kind of sweeter, for lack of a better word. Pictures here...

That looks sweet!I was thinking along the same lines as you.It seems to add more, if thats possible to the bike. One kwik question did you remap with the ago slip on??And if so did you pickup the map in the ghetto?

I haven't remapped yet but I will. I've recently purchased the cables and a new laptop so will make a donation to Beetle (though he doesn't ask for one) and play with the mapping. I currently have a Rexxer flash on there that works very well but my mileage is limited to 30mpg.

The original owner installed the Agostini crossover with the slip-on. Based on what I've learned in the Ghetto I would have kept the OEM pretzel crossover instead as the bends in the pipe seem to be critical in exhaust pressure.

How about some pics of your bike?

My bike has been in the shop for the last 32 days waiting for a part. What should have been a warranty fix is going to cost me $$$$.I have all these parts wanting to go on and no bike.A map and donation to beetle is also the way I will go when I get my bike back.Good to know about the crossover .The mpg is the shits on my bike but I did not buy it with that in mind. What is a rexxer??How does your bike run with the mods you have?Better city or open road as far as happy bike.

When I bought the bike the previous owner had all sorts of fueling issues and had the dealership install the Rexxer flash, which is a brand of mapping. He is also the one who put on the Ago pipe and crossover. When I got the bike it had a huge flat spot between 5-6K rpm and I didn't like it. I took it back to the dealership and they installed the latest version of the Rexxer map and unplugged the oxygen sensor as it had apparently been left in and was fighting against the map? Maybe that makes sense to someone smarter than me.

The bike runs wonderfully and that's why I haven't jumped right on a Beetle map in a great hurry. Plus my wife is all about the bathroom remodel that we're muddling through so much of my spare time is spent there. My main interest in a proper map is fuel economy as I'm itching to take a weeklong ride through Arkansas this fall and don't want to have to carry a spare tank with me. There's a very good chance that a proper map will provide an even more satisfying ride but I don't know yet. Also I'm wondering if a new map will take a little snap off the throttle...it's a bit TOO responsive, if that makes sense. I suppose it could be the driveshaft?

It rides well in the city or open road but I prefer open road. It loves to be over 4K rpm, sweeping through curves and going up and down hills. I've recently purchased a scooter for city riding and find that's my go to ride for congested traffic.
