HI, id'e never seen a GRiSO before i bought one and i bought the first one i saw last month, at first i said to my friend ROB that's the ugliest thing iv'e ever seen, i ride a harley as well and iv'e adapted a saying lately that any thing that looks good isn't for some reason lately, so i bought the bike then and there and i went for my first long ride on sunday,we have had some shittie wheather here lately, And i couldn't help thinking that the GRiSO is every thing iv'e always expected of a bike, and more it bloody fantastic, its like a drug, i just can't get enough of it and for some reason iv'e started to love the look of it, i was on a run with about 12 other riders and when ever we had a rest every one was checking out my GRiSO and not one person had a negative comment about it,and in 40 years of riding it was the first time when i got home i didn't say to my self thank Christ i'am home, i felt like i had a coat hanger stuck in my mouth, i had a grin from ear to ear, there is won thing id'e like to try and change and that.s the gearing, if it was a chain driven bike i think id'e go up one or two teeth on the front sprocket but that out so i don't know, they run a 55 profile tyre, i was thinking may be a 60 may bump the gearing up that bit, any thoughts on that guys welcome.

Happy "GRISOING" Guys. Very Happy

Wakey welcome
That is the best introduction I have heard buddy.
Yes, some think ugly but in the end it becomes a swan.
Enjoy as they are a great bike.
And get used to people asking questions about it.
Which did you buy, 4 or 8 valve.
I have a 1100 and happy as Larry with it.
Heaps of info on here so enjoy. Smile

The GRiSO doesn't speak to everyone, but it sure seems like it spoke to you. Fortunately, you've listened...

If you want to raise the gearing the best way to do it would be to source a second hand gearbox from a Breva 1100 off Fleabay. The B11 is geared taller than the G11. It's done with the primaries.

Actually, some of us are even more "mature" than that.  Wink

But, thankfully, we elders can take some comfort in sentiments such as these, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Vid. made me laugh Bill.

Some of us are a bit less mature than that (but not by much). Have owned a GRiSO for 2 and a half years and yeah, they can seriously grow on you if they don't knock you out immediately like it did me!

Other bikers digging your ride - CHECK
Ear to ear grin - CHECK
Everything we hoped from a bike / like a drug - CHECK
Can't get enough of it / not thankful to be home - CHECK

Feel like you have just pulled the sword from the stone?

Enjoy Wakey and welcome!
