Terry hay is 'Shock Treatment' in Shitney.

What's the Matris kit worth? I'll be interested to hear the results.

Ouch! But of its as good as their shocks, worth it. Is this a system with compression daming in one leg and rebound in the other?

Pete,
You can try them when you get my bike finished I have them installed.
Mine have compression and rebound in both fork tubes.

Yes.

I shopped around for the best price, but the SRU price was only $100 more fitted.

But I can't handle a bar of this.

Not wanting to dampen proceedings but these things have a habit of rebounding back at you Mark.

Is the Matris like the Matrix? Is Trinity there?

OK, now we've all got those bad puns out of the way (we have, right ??) - something semi-sensible:
I've also put Matris front and rear setup on my 1100 - the basic shock and the the 'R' fork inserts.
Installation of the shock was pretty straightforward (including the 'Roper-recommended' Swingarm greasing) but the forks were (as the Master himself would say) "a right front-bottom"
So, good call on paying someone $100 (US or Aus) to do it - I spent 2 weeks and about $300 on special tools I'll likely never use again....
(I needed an oil-level gauge, RaceTech spring compressor and a really-thin 17mm wrench).
It was a bitch to do. I used so many swearwords I almost applied for Australian Citizenship !!
I got the components from Todd Eagan at GuzziTech, and he couldn't have been more helpful, replying promptly to emails and giving really useful advice. I just bit off more that I should have.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Results are worth it though - the bike is so much nicer to ride now: more compliant on both ends. I've pushed its limits even further away from my capabilities...
(Biggest bang for the buck was the shock though).

Thanks Jeremy. I was hoping to have my forks back two days after dropping them off, but the kit hadn't arrived from Italy yet. It's already been more than six weeks since I last rode GRiSO, so I'm starting to champ at the bit.
