I bought the Diavolo Nero last October, trading in my 1100 to get it.  I kept all of the mods I had on that bike, trading it in back in stock form.  I've kept some of those mods on the new bike and added some others.  Still more to come, as it is a work in progress.

PERFORMANCE
Arrow Slip-on Exhaust - Commissioned of Arrow Special Parts in Italy
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - New map on my ECU, flashed with the current 1200 8V map developed by ghetto members Mark and Pete.  It is a simple process with GuzziDiag - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].  Bravo to our Australian developers, very sensible and tactile improvements.  WHOOSH!

COSMETICS:
Skidmarx Hugger - painted to match the matte silver of the Diavolo Nero
Pazzo Racing Levers - 2006-2012 (F-16/DC-80) Titanium finish
Custom Rim Stripes - 3M Scotchlite in bright silver, BISTECCA CORSE
Barenders - Helmet locks/bar end weights (6mm stud fits GRiSO bars)
GIVI A770 Cupolino -  Have now mounted this on the Diavolo Nero mostly because it helps with Winter riding.  While the matte black finish suits the Diavolo Nero, the search for the "Ultimate cupolino GRiSO" continues.
Passenger Grab Rails - by Stucchi Luigi, also left over from the 1100 (I like this bit of kit, but they still languish on the shelf for now.)

COMFORT/TOURING
Koso Heated Grips - These work great and have five levels of heat
Hepco Becker C-Bow panniers - I opted for the street bags, but the Krauser trail bags look promising.
MOTO GUZZI Waterproof Duffel - Picked this up on a lark while up at Moto International a few months back.  It's a well made piece of kit and offers a bit more room than the waterproof duffle I had been using from Seattle Sports.

AVAILABLE IN THE MERCATO DI GRiSO
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - I have a PCV, Autotune, Airbox Rim from the 1100, but won't be adding them to the 8V. These items seem better suited to the 4 valve 1084 cc motor.

Here's a look so far:

Nice Mod's! I am toying with getting a screen, should i replace my current touring bike with a GRiSO. But i love the look of the bike with no screen so much! Decisions!

Angus, I painted it myself, just rattle canned it with a close enough match from the hardware store, topped it off with some matte clear of the same.  It's not a "perfect" match, but it is close enough to my eye.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so knock yourself out.  I approve!

From another forum back in December...

Yesterday, I decided to get the hugger repainted for the new GRiSO so that I could mount it up in time for the New Years Day ride on Tuesday.

After a good surface prep, a couple coats of primer and the first coat of silvery paint it looked like this.

Earlier today, I put on a second coat of paint after another sanding, and then primered up the brackets.  They're basked in the warmth of a space heater between coats.

I'll shoot one more coat of paint, then clear coat it with a matte finish tomorrow.

I also think the "Alutex" hugger from Stucchi Luigi would look great on the Diavolo Nero, but it never seems to be in stock...

Hi Steak
Nice job love the sound.
I installed the C-Bow Hepco Becker panniers+ rack with a rack bag.
Not sure on a hugger or a shock sox.

Street tells me he was surprised by how much more whoopee your 8V had, compared to his (and my) pushrod 1100.  I just might have to test ride one of those bad boys!  pirat

Well, he was also surprised by how much more whoopee his GRiSO 1100 had after he put in a new air filter that wasn't clogged with 30,000 miles of road dirt...What a Face

But yeah, the 1200 8V does go like stink when you put the boots to it!
