Do you have anyone some "tuned" fuel map for M/G V7 Stone? Or some hints, how to tune this bike for better experiences?
Thank you ;-)

Stone uses the MUIG3 controller which Paul and Bernt haven't cracked yet. I'm hoping to be able to contribute to that at some time soon. Until then though it seems the only real option is Rexxer.

mmmm..... I just toured 1700 kms on my wife's Stone and it's not that bad, though the stock suspension was painful at times.  I only noticed a slight lack of engine smoothness at quite low speeds - perhaps this might become irritating if one did a lot of city riding.

On most of the boards I frequent the common theme with the V7's is their crappy suspension. Sure they're a model designed to appeal to aesthetics rather than real 'Performance' but shitty suspension is unforgivable in this day and age!

I really like the Stone, especially with the Nuovo Six Speed behind it. If they would only give it decent suspension front and rear I'd be sold for my last motorbike purchase, (In a few years time. Even with the arthritis I reckon I won't be giving up the GRiSO any time soon. I like it too much!). All the wailing and gnashing of teeth about 'More Power' from the Corn Cob Pipe and Red Suspender brigade does my fucking head in! Why is it so hard to understand that if you want 'Modern' performance you need a fucking 'Modern' engine! GAKKK!

Interesting you like the six speed Pete. I found the five speed's cruise sweet spot to be 4000rpm which equates to 130 kmh indicated - not too shabby for a mere 50 hp imo. Didn't use a drop of oil either.  And while I didn't actually measure fuel economy, the modest amount of fuel required at each fill-up continually surprised me.  The seat has been sorted, now just gotta fix the suspenders when finances permit.

From what I hear, some owners are perfectly happy with the single TB injection, while others aren't. So is it the gas, the owner or differences in production tolerances between bikes?

Hanged if I know Paul? The early single TB models had a few issues with cold start but other than that they seemed to work OK and the factory put out a map update that, for some at least, seemed to fix it.

The couple of V7-II's I've sold seemed to run fine. They have an erratic idle in the cold-start map but that I'm sure is down to spark control of the idle like the Cali 14 although *We* have never had that explained in any way. Once warm they just seem to motor along without fuss.

I don't doubt for a minute that the maps are as pedestrian and poorly developed as any of the other factory maps and there is heaps of room for improvement by people cleverer than me but as long as they have been set up correctly they seem to run fine.

Hate to say it but I really like the V7-II, apart from its shitty, poverty pack suspension! I mean??? Fuck!

The same is for the two TB v7 series, most owners are happy with it. And the ones looking at it, are the ones that want more power, a thing that is not to easy with that engine.

Don't get me fucking started Paul! I've just wasted several days arguing the point with a bunch of pinheads on WG. What is it about the laws of physics that these people can't understand? Grrrr.

My Brides' 2013 V7 Stone could do with some tweaking , although if I put the OEM mufflers back on it may be fine. Not a hard to get along with motorcycle , it just doesn't get used enough.

Same with my Jan's bike, that's why I took it away for a long-ish ride.  Problem is Jan has a home-based business that requires her to be very busy at local markets 4 weekends a month, so tough for her to ride regularly.
