Yeah, that one has been doing the rounds. God almighty the stuff Rossopuro produce is horrible. At least the fork looks well engineered, Hossack systems do work well, but why you'd waste it on this sort of monstrosity I have no idea. Like all of their stuff though it's all form over function and I personally think the form sucks.

It's up on BikeEXIF today:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

According to the post it was built to showcase the manufacturing capability of the company (Walter Tosto) that commissioned it. Officine RossoPuro did the design with Tosto producing most of the parts in various metals.

Definitely "out there".

I like the swingarm, even if I think the shaft would best be kept away from dirt, etc. and the forks look pretty cool. What I don't "feel" is the trend for truncated seats and floaty rear plate holders. I like fenders - or at least a rear-wheel hugger + abbreviated rear guard.

As I said, form over function. That front tyre will make the bike handle like a feral shopping trolley and the poor thing still has 30mm VHB carbs which means it is a severely limited, asthmatic pig.

Chrome won't get you home but pretty won't save you from shitty either....

Laughing Pete, your turns of phrase just crack me up!

My 850-T has those carbs. I finally got some 1000cc Gilardonis for them; I waited something close to 3 years for them to become available; seems no one could reliably say when they'd make a batch and how many they'd produce so I just had to check every so often). When I swap the cylinders this winter I'll have to investigate larger carbs.

That cali was build to be presented as a new russian motorcycle to show the world that russia isn't stupid. If you read the translated local news about it, it reads as old cold war propaganda.

I love the look of that café bike bioman put up but I would be very quick to make sure it didn't suffer the ills Pete warned about. The only thing I want to do on a bike like that is Haul ASS.
Oh wait; I have a GRiSO. Smile

Interesting. Walter Tosto wants to make a bunch of $ restarting the Russian mcy industry. With a bike from another country. Well I guess annexing things fits the current style there...

The first bike looks like a turd and its wheel base is way too short. lol
The cafe racer has potential but with a decent front wheel and tire combo like Pete says and it needs a front fender, not a dinky one designed by a fag.
Again, Guzzi has the perfect bike already, but they need to put it together first... the Bella with the V7 accent. Thumbs Up

To my mind the Rossopuro design appears inspired by Lego . Laughing

The Quattrotempi look very nice and does make one want to take it out for a spin.
