| I loved my time with St. Elvio. I wanted to see what all the ADV fuss was about. It was fun. A great motor, and amazing luggage capacity. But I realized I just don't like windshields, or the sit and beg seating position. The local Guzzi dealer had a deal on their demo GRiSO, and they offered to sell my Stelvio. So if you're at all interested in a Stelvio with about 9700 miles and good upgrades (metal fuel filter from Moto International, Kriega fork protectors, upgraded luggage locks, heated grips, Euro mirrors / signals, NGK spark plug boots) give Moto Guzzi Portland a call. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I fell in love with the GRiSO when I first saw it in real life at the Seattle International Motorcycle Show in 2006. She was gorgeous to look at, and then I made the mistake of sitting on her. Then, a few weeks ago, I had my first test-ride -- of the demo bike that's now in my garage (!). The sound was unbelievable. The riding position felt like you were strapped to the motor I loved. I can't believe I have her. My lovely wife, rather than being angry with me, is stoked. I'm a very, very lucky man.

| Welcome, Siggy. You guys were at the Deep Forest camp-out too weren't you? In fact that picture looks like the parking lot of the grocery store in Randle. I should have made more of an effort to get to know everyone, but was kind of preoccupied with my puppy, Jellybean all weekend. | Welcome Siggy. Congrats on the new GRiSO, life's to short not to try one. Hey Street, Jellybean is coming along fine , pretty little dog. My dad had to tie a pork chop around my neck to get our dog to play with me | |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Jellybean was awesome. We were impressed with the tank bag / dog seat set-up! That's one happy pooch!

Thanks. Yeah, she's turning out to be pretty awesome. She's only fifteen weeks old and will outgrow the tank bag rig very soon, but we're awaiting delivery on a sidecar that will go on that bike so in the future "Jellybean the Sidecar Queen" will be traveling in style. Next summer we plan to take her to the National Moto Guzzi Rally in John Day, OR. I'm sure we'll see you all there.

| Our garage is pre-1920, so it's a little tight. Here's what I've got. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Weirdest thing -- all the stickers and the canister fell off on my ride this morning! I plugged the line to the throttle bodies and replaced the tip over valve with a brass fitting and some 1/4" hose clamps. Found an 8mm x 20 bolt to fill the hole from the canister mount at my local hardware store. Thanks to this site for making things so easy! | |
