Thanks for the memories ..............................

Many years ago I took the wife (now ex) on a 2 week driving holiday to see everything she wanted to see. Snowy mountains thru to the Great Ocean Road and over to the Adelaide hills. I stumbled across this brilliant motor museum and wanted to go in. She said "No way am I wasting time in there, I'm having coffee and you've got one hour".

Anyhow, I'm single now and much happier and that last photo reminds me of the supercharged Bentley Speed 6. Apparently, as a kid I hated reading books (as opposed to looking at pictures) but was forced to do so by some dumb arsed teacher. According to my mum I read a novel about that car 10 times over, I think it won at Le Mans 2 years in a row around the early 30's.

Looks like a great trip, Blue, thanks for the terrific pics! I have no idea what that second bike is (with the fender number EH3708), but it's a weird and wonderful piece.

I think the early Squaffors had the rear cylinder exhaust ports internally connected to the front ports, head cracking led to the 4 pipe design ???

Thanks for the pictures , Blue. I had no idea that Alcoholics Anonymous made a side-car rescue bike!

I could have used that service on more than one occasion! drunken
