Nearing the end of a two week trip to Korea and Japan. It's the longest I've ever been away from my GRiSO. Not sure if I miss the bike or my dog more. Haven't seen a bike I want to ride since I left home. These little Kawi thumpers are all the rage in Kyoto it seems.

Can't wait to get home Saturday and have a ride.

Reminds me of my trip to China. MILLIONS of bikes. 125cc singles.
I saw less than a half dozen full size motorcycles.
I couldn't wait to get home to my stable.

I can see customizing one of those little bikes into a modern version of a classic '60s Scrambler with knobby tires, bobbed fenders, extended suspension and a side mounted pipe.  Be sweet.

It sure was nice to get home and go for a good run on the GRiSO, jet lag and all. My internal clock still has no idea what time it is. All the little thumpers in Japan are kind of neat. The kids looked to be having fun zipping through traffic. I really enjoyed both Korea and Japan, but the motorbike situation in Korea really made me appreciate the US. Bikes are prohibited on all freeways and many highways there. So it's mostly just scooters for use around town. I did see one R9T sitting in Seoul traffic. Not a Guzzi anywhere in sight. Grim situation for bike lovers.
