Should I buy V11 or GRiSO

I have loved MG's for a long time. one of my closest friends has a V11 Lemans and a Sport Scura. Both are amazing bikes. For months I looked for a clean V11 or even a Breva Sport that met my criteria but to no avail. So the question is should I buy a New 2015 GRiSO or keep looking for a V11? I fortunately have two (2) MG dealers within a 50mi radius and a really good European bike shop about 25mi away.

V-11s are great Motos and have that fantastic 2 into 2 exhaust note.

The GRiSO is in a class all of it's own. If it speaks to you, you'll never part with it. It's not for everybody.

GRiSO likes short legs and long torsos best!

They are very different. I know people who went from GRiSO back to v11. The v11 is not as comfortable with it's short swingarm. But it's more pure.

I bought my GRiSO after an unfortunate crash on my V11 Tenni. I had expected to have the Tenni well into the future, it pleased me. The fates felt otherwise. I am very happy on the GRiSO but it is definitely a different experience. Take a test ride on a new GRiSO and see if it works for you. My direct comparisons were that I missed the small protection afforded by the fairing on the LeMans and I also felt the suspension set-up was superior. I hope to have the latter issue addressed this season. I did recently add the "large wind-Screen" to my GRiSO and I am much happier with the flow. Also I changed tires to the Michelin Pilot Road 4s to match the tires I ran on the Tenni. The difference was night & day compared with the stock Metzlers.(I thought they sucked) I bought the bike with 5K on the clock so I may be giving the stock tires short shrift. Never ridden a v11, so I cannot compare, but I have ridden my GRiSO 1100
Great bike, smiles per mile, awesome
I am 63 years old and first thought the GRiSO would be too big/much for me, but not the case
A bit awkward around tight spots but out on the road, great

Jhtjon ... you may want to search this site as I believe that this has been addressed in some detail recently.

I owned (and grieve still a bit over) a Ballabio. I now have a G12.

Both are grand and (doh) different.

I loved my Ballabio, but the GRiSO scratches all of my itches save those I reserve to Kathi. queen

Again, recommend you search here a bit for more.

P.S. H-E-R, I share your views of the OEM Metzlers and MPR4's. The former sucked green eggs; the latter are stupendous. cheers

Having logged many hours on the V11's I am currently trying to persuade my local dealer to prep his only GRiSO to let me test ride it. He is reluctant without a contract and I am reluctant to sign a contract without a test ride. But I am working on it.

I wouldn't recommend buying a new bike without trying it first. The down side is great if you find that you don't care for it. On the other hand, I have never taken a test ride on any motorcycle, ever!
I have always relied on my research and personal knowledge to purchase a used bike at a reasonable price. If for some reason it isn't a fit I can be comfortable that I will be able to sell it without getting skinned.(I have never lost a dime) I am an addicted shopper and even though I have no good reason to be looking, I can say that my recent searches have turned up some good low mileage GRiSOS for sale here in the Northeast. You might want to consider this route. Meanwhile I know some people are compelled to by new (thank goodness) and I realize we need to support the dealer network if we want to see the survival of the marque.
I just thought I would throw it out there if you hadn't considered my method. I bought my GRiSO on a leap of faith and I have not been disappointed.
