Yes here it's up to, but it came from almost nothing.

Dutch sales

paul, that could be the same here, there were no actual figures from piaggio about guzzi, only about aprilia and vespa, however at least it is in the right direction and by a nice healthy amount :-)

Double of nothing, ...................... is still nothing.
Australia 2014 Guzzi sales - 253
Australia 2015 Guzzi sales - 255

Wow! we had an increase of 0.8%

Now it would be interesting to see the model break up. Big increases in UK and USA may be attributed to the V7 range, or even the Cali 1400.
Down here the V7 is considered by most as a girls bike.

Really?
I've not heard one single comment like this by any other rider, and almost all of them on larger bikes.
So "by most" or just by you?

There is a market for affordable and simple bikes. I've put a fair bit of miles on one and enjoyed it.
Something to be said for accessible bikes.

Well timed and with a 'heritage' to lure the beard and tight pants crowd. The V9 is too much though IMHO.
Long live the GRiSO

I didn't say that was my opinion. In fact, I was so impressed with the nimbleness of the 750 Breva some years ago I nearly bought one. Have since steered many a shopper in that direction.
One such guy was looking at all the Jap cruisers for his short assed wife , bought a Breva 750.
Wife complained coz he no longer rode his 1200 Bandit. She finally got to ride her bike when he traded the big Suzuki for a V11.

Within the industry, Harley Sportsters are always looked down upon as being the girls bike (with no power). And some view the asthmatic wheezing of a V7 similarly. Ironically the Fat Boy was designed for the little girls (with ducks disease) but was not considered to be unmanly, coz it was 1380cc.

Before you shoot the messenger, I ride an asthmatic wheezing Bellagio, which was designed to compete with the afore mentioned Sportsters. I'm about 40 horses short of a hairy chested GRiSO, but hey, I made it turn like a V7 (theoretically) should.

^lol no worries. Sportsters (880) have been seen as girls bikes for a long time. Not enough V7s or MG's for that stereo type....yet
