Hi All,
After searching for the best aftermarket handlebars I think the LSL 'Street bar' seem to be the ones to go for.
Does anyone know if these will be OK with no necessary mods when fitting controls, cables ect ?
The LSL 'Street bars'  measure 32" wide, 3 1/2"pull back, 2 1/2" rise and 22.2mm OD.
They seem to measure around the same as the OE bars (GRiSO 1100)

Hope you can help,

Wildhenry.

Hello Wildhenry;

i have mounted the 31,5" tapered LSL X-Bar "Naked". No mods on cables and brake hoses necessary. You need new risers for the X-Bar the drilling in the originals is a little bit smaller than the 28,6mm. For the Street-Bar you also need other risers or adapters, because they are only 22mm diameter. You have to drill both bars for fixing the switch units.

Thanks Sven,
To be honest I only want to change out the OE bars because I don't like the chrome finish bars on my 2006 1100,the ergo's are OK for me.
Does anyone know if painting them black with Plasti-dip would work?
I also had a thought that I could maybe use Plasti-dip on any other chrome stuff on my bike ie;chrome headlight, instrument binnacle, bar ends, silver oil cooler cover, and also to paint on the inside of the fly screen to make it darker ect.
Has anyone had experience of the stuff?
It looks pretty good and has the advantage of being able to peel off without any damage!
Any Comments?

I did the same thing, plastidipped the headlight bucket and dash backing. Worked well.

For ahandlebar, I found that Pro-taper raptor bars were much cheaper and locally available, and offer enough different sizes to suit any of your desired ergos. I went with some higher pullback and it sits perfect now.

I dunno what they cost, but I found the bars on 2015 1200 a whole heap more comfortable than those on the 1100. And they would fit.

Thanks Charlie J,
I thought about the 1200 8v bars but can't seem to find any!
Anyone got some for sale?
