Tank Bag Help Empty
PostSubject: Tank Bag Help   Tank Bag Help Icon_minitime1Wed Apr 06, 2016 1:00 am

I would like to get a small tank bag but I don't feel like paying $300 to MG and I really don't like the ring style bags. Any suggestions.

I had a famsa on my Futura and it holds a ton of stuff with great adjust-ability and modular sections that allow flexibilty be it day ride or cross country packing needs.

I do like the "ring" style, and bought one.

But, still have a small MG one if you are interested.

Here are a few pix. If what you might want, PM me.  I am way cheaper than OEM.

And I have a big GRiSO OEM bag, that could use a little zipper repair but works just fine. Like Bill, I'm a big fan of the GIVI tanklock. Also like Bill, I too am WAY less expensive than OEM.

I have had tank ring bags. Think they are very practical, secure, no paint work issues. Mine were "Bags Connect" quality kit. Good zips. Will buy another in an instant.

Shhhhhh.

I just mailed him mine.  Wink

Seriously, I, too, prefer the "tank-lock" variety, but the OEM is not a bad version of the strap-on kind, tho, as with all OEM branded $tuff, way too dear.

I especially liked its size, as the bigger tank bags always seemed over-large for my on-the-tank needs, especially as all I ever wanted to extract quickly was my DL for uniformed questioners.   Shocked
