Put Bella all back together with the new Ducati front end,
modified mount for ignition/lock plus a few mods for headlight/instrument mounting.

Tank on, key in, turn on, fuel pump primes .......................... but no life on the dash.
Horn works ....................... nothing else.
No lights.
No start!

Only one green plug (2 pin) unattached under the tank, but I'm sure that has always been unused, no corresponding connection to be found.

I did .................... accidently ................... drop my instrument cluster while it was all apart.
No cracks, no scratches, no bruises, nothing.

Fuses are good.

Just double checked the horn. Nothing.
Plugged dash back in and the horn works.

I could here another faint noise ................. but tank is off.

Bloody hell, speedo did a sweep.
Blank screen except MG0000 - - - , ....... code?????

Ignition off, then back on.
BRAVO! We're back.
Dash all lit up like a xmas tree.

Tomorrow I purchase 4 pinch bolts for the front axle .....................................if it starts, I test ride.

Found a few bolts in the scrap supply, went for a ride, nothing fell off. Front end feels good.

Dash has got me bush wacked, maybe it just needed time to power up after long term separation.

Next Monday Bella goes in for cosmetic surgery, new custom front alloy guard, plus fit XSR900 rear guard and tail light.
Tomorrow, engine comes out of the RS485 .....................

The little guys that hold the numbers up inside the screen were still asleep, or in a coma. You should ride more often Laughing Rolling Eyes
