After my dash up from the southern isles to the mid north, and with the multitude of ghetto suggested routes.... cheers
I thought, maybe let's have a thread for the tracks that you have, and the ones you would like. Question

This little starter from the approach to Mt Everest Base Camp, Tibet. My buddy just wasted it on a BMW800. Rolling Eyes

Hi Pat
I hope your handling the north Island ok ......
I did a road similar to this road on 350 Royal Enfield Bullet a few years back when I did the trip to the highest motorable road in the world in Ladack Northern India.
The bike lacked punch so it was a slow trip up the switchbacks, but fantastic.
Stay safe and well

Even with his full face helmet on you can tell Stefano is grinning from ear to ear after this one on Pedro's SP 1000.

One of my favorites is Montezuma Valley  Road in the Anza Borrego Desert.   Not long, but great banked switchbacks, grippy tarmac, incredible views on a 2000+ rise  out of the Valley.  I've made many back to back runs up and down this road.

Then of course there is HWY 1 between Monterrey and San Simeon, if you can do it without the Tourist traffic.   Incredible twisty run along the Pacific Ocean...Gotta watch the pavement, but great day trip up and back.

That was a fun day.

My favourite Norway Road is the Lysevegen, that heads down to Lysbotn at the head of the Lysefjord.

900 metre drop in about 10km, with 25 or so hairpins before you dive into a tunnel on the side of a cliff, another 3 switchbacks inside to exit at the base of the fjord.

A must fix for Adrenalin junkies. It was the end of a fantastic day riding from central Norway. Hit Lysbotn after midnight in daylight. Surreal ride. Surreal place.

Here's a description:

Wow, some sweet roads out there for sure. Highway 1 is a treat. Here's another one of our favorites: Lolo Pass between Idaho and Montana:

. Condon  to Heppner  to Shaniko for example but anywhere in that area is massive fun. ive had the good fortune to ride most of it and low traffic and beautiful countryside to bout...
