I've got the single Agostini megaphone on my 2008 8V. To be honest, I don't like the sound that much. It's a bit too much Harley and not enough Ducati, if you know what I mean... It did put 101 HP at the wheel though, so can't complain. The local dealer had a V7 sport with the dual set up, and it sounded like a beast.. How's that work?

I'm installing a new GPR (carbon fiber look) on my new 8V to be right after it's broken in...
Anyone have any experience with those?

I've ran the Quat-D can on the 1100 and the Arrow reverse cone on the 1200 SE and they both have a similar exhaust note. I'm more reminded of a screaming V-8 when they're really ripping than either an HD or a Ducati. My favorite Guzzi exhaust note continues to come from the V11 spiney series with a nice set of aftermarket cans. The dual exhausts just pump out a better rumble to my ears, all warm and throaty.

The two into one systems on all the CARC bikes seem to my ears to be just a little more harsh. The overlapping pulses kind of muddy up the tones resulting in more of a bark than a roar.

Oh yeah, dual all the way is always a better sound.
Bose makes a high mount dual for the GRiSO but I never heard it in person and it's too expensive, like anything German.

I may have to accuse myself of heresy but I really liked the 2000 Bassa with the fishtail mufflers.
Aren't fishtails Harley domain???
Anyway, they sounded very good and yet they were low enough noise level that your neighbors would still be friendly to you.
sigh.
I must stop myself from putting one on the GRiSO. Stop!! Stop I tell you. Stop!!  Laughing

The falcone came with fishtails...and it is one sweet sounding bike in fact some came with 2,,,,,only guzzi would build a 1 into 2. Wink
