Dave Swanson Has Lost His Wife to MS

Dave is a member here, and his wife, Gayle, has died after a long illness, and one that had Dave as her primary caregiver. Sad

Thanks to all for your thoughts. It was an honor and a privilege to be by Gayle's side during her journey. She was diagnosed with MS in the Spring of 1989. I promised her that day that I would take care of her no matter how long or how hard it would be. She fought a good fight. She was a very brave, beautiful, and faithful woman. She was a wonderful mother to our 2 children and they adored her.

Really sorry to hear that. I lost my father in '87 to this terrible illness. He was 53 - I never saw him walk, he didn't live long enough to meet any of my wives, nor any of my children. Having to care for someone with MS is heart wrenching - seeing someone you love go through so much hurts incredibly.

My Condolences Dave.
A couple of years back we lost our step mother to MND. Its not nice to watch but to some point their suffering is over and theyre in a better place.
