1100 gear and drive box fluids Empty
PostSubject: 1100 gear and drive box fluids   1100 gear and drive box fluids Icon_minitime1Mon Sep 21, 2020 5:10 am

Having just performed an unsightly jb weld repair on my leaky transmission, i need to replace the fluids, i drained to measure and while its clean, would rather not pour it back in.
I have gear oil of the correct grade along with yamaha shaft box oil, i hate 1/2 bottles laying around, would this stuff be ok? I know we dont add moly as with my older guzzis, but are they super critical on the manyfacturers recommended agip? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Both gearbox and bevelbox will run just fine on any 75/90 or 80/90 full synthetic gear oil.
