GRiSO 1200 SE - my mods

Well, gonna finally get back to my GRiSO this week, very excited, I've been away from it since March...

Thought I'd post up a pic and a list of my mods


GRiSO ArgentoNero 12008V SE


-Beetle map
-Mistral high pipes with DB killers in
-lower pegs for the long haul
-Maxton RT10 rear shock and SD25s up front
-Side panels trimmed for leg ergonomics (still got the originals wrapped in cotton wool somewhere don't worry!!)
-unnecessarily chic soft leather bag modified to serve as a quick release tank bag that clicks on to...
-....Onur's brilliant tank ring.
-Rizoma black anodized handlebars
-Much repaired vintage Guzzi military pannier on the RHS

and...

a big dirty sheepskin from one of our local herds!

oh and the original guzzi screen comes on or off, mainly depending on whether the mrs is in tow or not...

I got a great deal on the GP10 rear shock, otherwise the RT10 would’ve been my £££ choice for road use.

SD25’s… Curious I’ve opted for a Showa fork conversion, at maybe half the price of the cartridge?  My track days are few and far between these days.

Looks like Lazlo just chopped the rear ends off Bob (in the picture). Lot Cheaper than going Daes-Moto route !

Laslo- you must have deceivingly long legs!
I’m a long legged 6’2” and have no issues with legroom although I do have 1” lowering pegs.

its more about not having your legs spread out too wide

this way I can grip with my thighs a bit like on every sport bike I've ever ridden...

much nicer position for me.

A mate of mine saw the bike and was surprised when I told him that I'd chopped them myself, I spent ages wet and dry sanding them just for something to do in early lockdown....
