PostSubject: injector weather/dust boots..?   injector weather/dust boots..? Icon_minitime1Tue Apr 25, 2023 1:10 am

Hi all,
looking to replace the rubber or neoprene boots that cover the electrical connection at the injectors. I haven't been able to find the part number in any of the part lists.
Anyone know where I could obtain OEM or aftermarket substitutes ?
Mine have pretty much turned to rags. I could MacGyver them up with electrical tape or shrink wrap etc but prefer to replace if possible.
2017 plated GRiSO 8v

cheers,
Mark

mine came from the factory with cracked and broken boots.
I put a couple of wraps of self fusing electrical tape around them.
no issues since

OK. Thanx guys.
Looks like they may be made of unobtainium, so I will just have to paint them on and call it fixed. Thumbs Up

I have used those to, think the rubber was a bit thin however I got a pack of ten. Just a bit fiddley getting the pins out of the plug!

To all of you that have successfully replaced the injectors rubber boots.
Of all the sizes they offer, is the “4 way pin” the correct one to replace the oem boot?

Bit late to the party but . . .

The Injector connectors are the Industry Standard Bosch EV-1 type, same as a few other connections on my Stelvio, Oil Pressure Switch, Engine Temp Sensor to name two, there may be others on the GRiSO.

Easily sourced in Kit form online, and come with Boots.
They use the same 'Superseal' type Terminals as many other Connectors on the Bike, so it's worth adding the Superseal Crimp Pliers to your toolkit.

They come in various colours as well if that floats your Boat . . .
