Indicators

Hi every one,

I read that Peter does not like LED indicators, but I have fitted a set to replace the old set on the bike that were well past their use by date; I fitted the supplied resistors, but the indicators appear to be still a bit fast. I have purused the wiring diagram and cannot see a flasher can, can anyone chime in and explain how the system works and does the bike have one.

There's no flasher can. The indicators are controlled by the dash, and directly driven from it.

How fast are they actually flashing? The resistor doesn't affect the speed, but prevents the dash from indicating a globe is blown.

I just checked with the bike running and it would not start, it showed the spanner and the warning of a globe out, I had two inline resisters from a previous set, I plugged them into the back indicators on both sides and the bike started without the warning and run perfectly.

So, indicators now functioning correctly?

The right speed and it starts on the button with no errors. Thanks.
