Hi everyone!!!
I have to admit that I don't have Grisso No Crying or Very sad
And that's because in my country Guzzi is not a very popular brand. In fact I'm pretty sure that there is no more than 200 Guzzis in hole country. All models.
The second reason was that I'm quite tall and anything which has seat hight below 86cm is unacceptable.
So I've bought Stelvio 4V 2011.
I redesigned a king and queen seat and now I have decent 90cm from the ground.

Since Stelvio is quite similar to GRiSO Razz Razz I hope You forgive me that mistake.

Best regards to You all Very Happy Very Happy

Chris

P.S.
I almost forgot.
Sorry for my bad English Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Welcome Wacho, its the heart that matters, not the length of Stelvio's limbs (or yours).
Your English is fine, better than my Polish.

Enjoy the Ghetto, and post photos of the Stelvio with a King & Queen seat, interesting but ............

Greetings Wacholek and welcome to the site.

I would imagine that you are not the only Stelvio owner here so no worries. That being said, since you live in Europe and do not own a GRiSO, you are required to make a trip with the Stelvio to the Mandello, Italia area at your earliest convenience. When you arrive you will need to make at least two circuits of Lake Como on a rented GRiSO before returning to Poland on your own bike. We await your detailed report with photographs and or videos.  Laughing

Enjoy

Hi Chris,

Sounds like you have adapted the Stelvio well to fit you. You may not have a GRiSO, but you heard the calling.

Welcome to this place.

Witamy, Chris!

As I trust you already know, a Stelvio is a remarkable machine, and a deceptively competent road bike.

As for Poland and Guzzis, I have to ask if you know — or at least know of — Katarzyna Jaskulska?

See, e.g., [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Yes, I know Poland is a big place, but, heck, you never know. Wink

As for that now-required pilgrimage to Mandello, here’s a vid of the Moto Guzzi Club Poland’s trek.

Jeździć dobrze!

P.S. Apologies for my fractured Polish.  I am married to a (wonderful) first generation Polish lady.  A "jockette," she was downstairs exercising when I shouted to her "How do I say "welcome" and "ride well" in Polish.  Suspect I garbled it in the transmission. Neutral

Bill I think I haven't met Katrina. She have her own facebook page with some additional photos of her: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
But You probably already know that Razz

Actually You Polish was quite accurate:) so don't worry and please give your wife my best wishes.

Thank You all for such a worm welcome.

So let me tell You something about myself.

I live in center of Poland and I was also born here. I traveled for some time but unfortunately I had to come back to my berth place.
I'm interested in general electronics. Saying general I had in mind that I do everything with electricity. Especially microcontrolers and stuff.
I repairing CCD surveillance analog and IP cameras, controlled access system and many more.

Since I was raised by a former car mechanic I was always into the vehicle's electrics.
Stelvio is my second mature motorcycle. The first was my beloved BMW F650CS.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I still have it. My girlfriend wouldn't let me sold it. It has changed stock ECU software and added a Power commander with wide-band sensor.
I also made my own exhaust can from the original one. Great sound without any of the torque and power losses.

My new Stelvio is getting his first service. Lubricated all brings (this should be done in the factory) and place the hardness where it should be in first place.
Stock map was modified due to better worm-up.
Thats for now. I'm waiting to buy a LC-2 innovate AFR set to make more read-outs.
So any new map propositions would be great. Later on I will do some Dyno runs to have everything on paper.

And the final words.
I chose Stelvio by pure reasonable thinking. This bike has everything what, in my opinion should had. Two cylinders, oil coled, FI engine with dry clutch operated hydraulically. Clankless shifting(compared to BMW it is really noiseless). And finally the shaft final drive.
Despite all above, I've got so much more. There is so much more than meets the eye.

Best regards to You all

Chris

In the mater of fact I haven't had enough time to ride on BMW. Since I bought the Stelvio I was to occupied by it. BMW is resting under the cover for now.
