| Mine is peeling off. First lost the 'O' now the 'G' is about to depart. I'm not about to ride with just 'RiS' on my tank and risk the awkward moment. What do you suggest? | |

Problem is, the clear coat is coming off with it. It happened on my white 09 so since I had to repaint the tank, I changed the color of the bike entirely. | |

| Mine came off easily after heating with a hair dryer...no issues with the paint. Goo Gone took care of some residual glue. | |

| Well fuck me!! Am I the only one that had the clear coming off with it? That sticker is under the clear, unless you guys are talking about the SE bikes only?

| My "GRiSO" is peeling but the "8V" is nicely cleared and looks like it is there to stay. | |

| I don't know about clear coating the tank, but I agree the 8V is on there for good but the GRiSO was an after thought unprotected transfer. Oh well like me the aging process carries on. | |

| So its balding with age, get a toupee as in another sticker and put it straight over the top. Sounds dodgy but eliminates further degradation of tank and clear coat. |

| The "8V" is of a different material (softer, non chromish) and the clear sticks better to it. At the time of that ordeal I remember noting that there isn't much clear at all on those tanks. | |

| I have the same problem. I'm ok with it as think the decals are rubbish, would love to remove all the GRiSO 8V graphics, but from what I'm hearing you can't do it. What about T-Cut? | |
