Header Guards

Good afternoon, everyone, and I hope all had a chance to get out and ride this past weekend.

I noticed in photos that some of the older model Grisos have what appear header guards, a black rubber and steel band strip crossing the header laterally. While certain it would not do much in the way of protection if the bike were dropped at speed, I can see that it would help if dropped while still...like on a driveway...an inclined one...like I did a few weeks back.

Are these available for newer 1200 8V model GRiSO? If so, from whom?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Header guards are available from Hepco Becker and Agostini, but both are steel tubes. I think you are looking for small guards which are mounted directly on the cylinder head.

What Sven said. The little ones that attach directly to the head aren't available for the 8V.

There are these head guards, but not sure from the description if they fit the 8V GRiSO. You could email the vendor.
