| Hello all Greetings from under, down under, Tasmania, Australia. My name Trevor and I have just purchased a 08 GRiSO 1100. I have only done a few hundred ks on this bike so far, smiles all the way. I am an Enfield man by heart and this bike has more grunt than I ever experienced before, some care needed until I get used to it. Thanks for having me on your site and for the availability of those with good GRiSO knowledge that I will request from time to time. Caio | |

| Welcome Trevor.
Fuck me drunk, no one needs 9 Enfields. You will find that your small sacrifice to fund the GRiSO will be rewarding. I have a soft spot for the Royal but never owned one. Hopefully one day. Can you tell your experience with the diesel?
Cheers Al | |

| Hi Al You can NEVER have too many Enfields. The diesels were a real hoot but when I retired from work 18 months ago I could not justify the registration costs for the few times I used them and so they just sat in the shed with their blankets over them. I wanted a highway runner and so I sold the 2 diesels and a 350 Bullet to fund this. Caio | |

| Hi Tony Thanks also for your welcome. Yes Mal is also an Enfield Tragic. A couple of weeks back he spent a few nights with us when came to Tas to 'steal' (buy) a beautiful V7 Sport. Caio | |

Welcome to the ghetto! Posting photos is not very difficult at all. Follow the link below, scroll down a couple-few posts and you will find a simple tutorial explaining the process. | Looks like a Royal Enfield twin, if I am not mistaken - therefore success at your end. | |

| Yes Tony Success in posting a photo. You are right it's a RE twin. This particular twin has an unusual link to Guzzi, let me explain I purchased this Super Constellation off a guy called Ed Milich. Ed lives in SanFransisco and is the Guzzitech man in SanFran. I bought it and imported into Aust due to it's rarity. There were only 12 of these bikes made and were imported into the states in 1963 by Cooper Motors of LosAngeles. They were regarded as the first 'super' bikes. I will now be able to post a photo of my 'new' Guzzi | |

| Cool - always nice to know of history, and sometimes rarity in one's collection. No wonder you and Mal get on so well! Though he has a Carberry, albeit in pieces and also 1 of 12 | |

| Nice Enfield - I had a '68 (and 1/2!) 750 Interceptor (Mk 1A). I got it super cheap because it had been beaten with a baseball bat Never did find out exactly why, but it ran well - just had a lot of dents. You get a lot of looks riding a bike with half the tank caved in! Cycle World described it: "“Most motorcycles have have an indefinable something we call character, and because they have this quality, they also almost invariable have appropriate names. We do not know what the average Royal Enfield Interceptor owner is calling his machine these days, but we would offer “King Kong” as a suggestion. No other name that comes to mind so completely describes the Interceptor—it is truly big and hairy." | |
