Hi Gang,
I am new to this forum but have known Pete Roper for about 10 years. I have previously owned a Le Mans Mark II ( a beautiful bike), a 750 Breva (wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding) and now own a 2009 GRiSO 12008V (wonderful bike, setting aside the tappet problem!). Pete Roper is helping me out with that one but I look forward to sharing in the banter on this website. My bike has 23,000km on the clock and is going beautifully, in part courtesy of Pete's mapping.

I ride with the local branch of Ulysses (old fart bikers) and later this month 4 of us are riding to Tasmania for two weeks. Should cover about 5 - 6 thousand ks. Looking forward to it. My bike has Terrmignoni pipes, lots of carbon fibre and a wonderful Givi windshield that makes life much more bearable at higher speeds.

Towed a Honda CB1300 the other day for a lovely lady who hopes to make the same trip from Qld.
Camper trailer,CB radio and all that stuff. Seems after 176,000km she has a rectum fryer problem.

Todd, I'd really recommend holding off on that trip until your bike is rollerised. When are you going? If you can get it to me quick smart I can drop my 'Spare' kit in before you go. I don't foresee a problem with your kit getting approval but you'll have to roll with the punches if it goes pear shaped.

Not rollerising before you go is playing Russian Roulette with several chambers loaded.

Yes, you will enjoy your trip down to 'paradise' , but please don't tell too many about it, we don't want to be swamped by too many north islanders.
Please take head re your flatties, imagine what's happening inside until it's done.
I am in Lima Peru at the moment, returning to Tas in around another 2 months so cannot be much of a host, sorry
