Will it hurt to pop the DBK in to see what difference it makes ?

It won't hurt but because the Termi has already got a cat-con it will change the fueling in a different way to if it had an open pipe.

If you are running a stock map pull the main fuse to re-set the trims after fitting the killer, (Or simply disconnect the battery for a few seconds, does the same thing.) and give it time to re-trim.

If you're running an aftermarket map all bets are off. If it's one of Marks it won't kill anything but being open loop maps they are built for specific combinations of factors so if the map was built for that pipe without a dBk it won't be as precise as one built for one with a dbK.

Have had this bike for around 5 weeks now and put around 900ks on it. fantastic.
Only problem is my Enfields are a bit jealous with the attention I'm giving this new one.
I like the sound the Termi is giving, especially around tight curves with banks beside you but I would like to see what it sounds like with the DBK fitted. It came in the box with the original can.
I would be very surprised if it has not still got the original mapping.
It's been serviced regularly at the Hobart MG dealers, I was provided with all the written invoices.
I would think that they would not have changed it.
