| hi all, was looking for a new seat! I was lucky and found the Ghettos Me? born in Cardiff/Wales and landed in Germany. I´v been riding Guzzi`s since 1979 V50²-V50³-V65TT-LM³ all long gone. Bought my 850T as box of bits in 1980, now with sidecar which i still use and bought my used GRiSO 850 2008 with 10,000kms on the clock I love the T but the GRiSO`s the workhorse. Done some changes to the GRiSO to make life easyer,footpegs/riser/stepper mod.changed the Mistral db eater and made my own drilled it out until I got the best performance and added an oil pressure gauge for the rainy days. looking forward to some reading. a few pics(if it works??): GRiSO me and my son last week on the Sweden/Norway boarder. I wonder at the need for the oil cooler on the GRiSO 1100/ and maybe the 1200 ? The 850 generates perhaps some less engine heat than the bigger engines but ........ Also Guzzis of old didn't have coolers either , and you would think with the jugs sticking out there in the wind they would be pretty efficient at cooling . Other MFG of air cooled bikes of the past didn't have them either BMW for example ... I don't think HD has one still and their motors inline vees ... Just curious | |

| Hi, Here in Germany on some motorways their are no speed limits ,when its hot ca. 30+ degrees I´v senn the oil pressure drop down to 2 bar /28lbs on the motorway , on a 190kmh/120mph wont go any faster 20 mile dash, never pushed it below 2 bar ! when you drop the speed the oil pressure goes back up to normal 3-4bar. mike | |
