GRiSO gender?

Here is a question I am struggling with. I like to see my GRiSO as a grizzled, bearded, unbeatable SOB. Eating Japanese 4-cylinders for lunch. Harleys are way, WAY beneath its level. A very handsome guy. But I also like to ride it like it is a beautiful female Italian supermodel. Its shape and design have a feminine flair. You just want to hold the bike (like the guy does on my avatar).

So is the GRiSO male or female? Or just a neutral "it". Your opinion?

We're all riding transverstites. Think of it as you will bioman. Some will say it's a guy and others will say girl. I think of mine as a badass gorgeous chick that is tough, knows how to party and has a tendency to bleed oil out of her......wherever (from time to time). Rolling Eyes

I, like you are confused in relation to this issue.
All my previous bikes were/are feminine.
My GRiSO is called Jo after the previous owner, Joanne.
When I got home with Jo I commenced the education program needed to own and operate this bike.
It wasn't long and I got the message that GRiSO's were hairy chested, sweaty, smelly males.
I felt lucky with the name because Jo is bi gender.
When I first set eyes on him/her I thought it was a 'Ferrari red Italian Stallion' or was it a sexy red skirted Sofia Loren ?
I soon worked out it was both depending on my mood, fast racy brutish stallion on the corners going uphill, that roar and grunt, you know !
OR, along a nice beach road cruisen it was the Sophia bike, again, you know.

When I first got the bike I called 'her' Serafina [ all classy and beautiful lines ] - then with the macho grunt of the bike, i liked the idea that was suggested by another forum member using the name Grizzley.

But GRiSO is what GRiSO is.........GRiSO is a great big chunk of crafted parts that stirs all sorts of emotions as you ride it. As it was named after a male character in an Italian novel then maybe it is male, but ultimately it is down to the owner to decide.

Then main thing here is that it evokes enough passion from the owners that they need to have a full blown blown discussion about it..............ALL GOOD, and a testament to the character of the bike. cheers

That's an interesting question, revealingly the GRiSO crowd in Italy refer to their GRiSO as BestiO, in Italian an the word for beast is bestiA, (feminine).
This is a total non-sequitur.

Definitely the sleek lines are feminine, but once the switch is turn, the engine comes to life and the beast bounds down the road it becomes clear that the GRiSO is masculine.
