PostSubject: France, the Morvan region   Mon Oct 05, 2015 12:14 pm

I went to France end of September, more specific the Morvan Region.

It's a rather unknown (or forgotten) part of France. People started to migrate to the big cities nearby during the Industrial revolution. That makes it one of the quietest places on earth. And then I really mean quiet! At night you don't hear any sound, in daylight you hardly meet any people or animal.

I add some pictures of our 5 day trip. If anyone might be interested in the GPX-files, I can sent them by mail.

Indeed I did, the highest point was 901 meters, a "mountain" called Haute Follin.

Thanks for sharing BT
Good to see some pics of other parts of this world.
We, in Aus are somewhat isolated.
Regards and best wishes.

Been there in my younger days...and you're right, deserted.
I'd go nuts living there, lol. Way too quiet for me...
Thanks for sharing.

The pics reflect perfectly the feeling when riding there.

I've been on Holiday to Italy too last spring ... Cool
