| I live in California and our premium gas is typically 91 octane. The next exit down the 101 from my house has a station that sells 100 octane unleaded. Would it be of any benefit to run that? It's nearly 2 x the cost. | |

| No, not really. If you can get E-free fuel so much the better but the GRiSO has a very nice, modern, combustion chamber and will burn just about any old lizard piss. Certainly a higher octane rating will probably make it smoother and less prone to detonation under heavy load but it won't give you any real performance advantage.

| Normally run Chevron or Union 76 premium on the 07 but the other day they had a screwed up touch screen so had to use mid grade. I swear it ran better on that stuff.
The old Olympic stations out here used to have a purple 103 octane that made the garage smell sooo good.

| If you can, run the highest octane ethanol free fuel available. FYI, ethanol bumps the octane rating up too. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| I THINK the 100 is ethanol free. We typically get a summer blend of 10% | |

| The local used bike forums are full of folks that left their old fuel in long enough to glue everything together. I just cleaned the rock hard residue out of the jets on my brother in laws small bore single trail bike.
This "magic " gas is destroying garden mowers, outboards, gen sets and anything else that doesn't get run once a week. Now they want to bump it up to 15% , corn lobby is strong in USA .

| I refuel with ethanol free premium (93 octane) fuel at my business. I can get it from my fuel distributor where I buy off-road diesel for my equipment. When traveling, it has become almost impossible to find alcohol free gasoline. With my GRiSO, I can definitely feel a difference in fuels, and for winter storage, I make sure I have topped off the tank with the "good stuff". | |

| Well crap. They no longer have a 100 octane pump. They will sell you 5 gallon cans of it. | |
