Don't know about the motel but if I got to the factory ................... I may never leave. Reminds me of a song about California.

If you want something more quaint and within walking distance of agostini and the factory check out mama ciccia's B&B. Do try the gelato on the lake side. Short train ride north will take you to varena, great views from the hillside windy road and ferries to take you Bellagio. If you're into that.
GRiSO hotel looks nice and it's close as well. +1 more activity in Lecco too

Vance from here in Seattle stayed at the GRiSO, said it was a great place to stay.
