Anyone here know Pro Cycles St Peters?  Or, possibly, the seller?  Shocked

Biggest puzzle to me is the Hong Kong (?) location — [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] — and complaints about an Aussie dealer.

Still, seller has 672 sales and 100% rating.

But from the bottom of the add I got this;

Refunds by law:
In Australia, consumers have a legal right to obtain a refund from a business for goods purchased if the goods are faulty, not fit for purpose or don't match description.

Well, he described it as a "piece of shit", I think it matches the description.

Oh, and his pushbike is worth more.

Hi Bill,
Pro Cycles in St Peters, New South Wales is a real bike shop, I bought a pair of motorcycle gloves there in August  2015. The staff were very friendly and their showroom is packed with bikes like sardines in a can, hundreds of them, it boggles the mind how they get anything in or out of there.

Thanks Bill, that's a very funny read. I don't think I would ever be brave enough to openly complain about a shop like that, something is wrong here, ?

For someone so screwed over, he certainly has a good sense of humour.

Once when I had a BMW, I went to the same dealership and asked for a rear shock (genuine no less). I was greeted with "yeah, that will be $x,000". Needing one, I then asked to go-ahead, only to be told "Sorry, there is non in Australia, and we can't tell when there will be"

Awesome I thought. i asked what I should do in the meantime. I was politely informed that they couldn't help me, BUT I could approach IKON in Albury. I did, I got and for around $500 less than the genuine part.

Care factor there was just about nil. Luckily I used to work with one of the guys in spare parts and he let me in on the IKON solution.

Caveat Emptor!
