| I admire your work Bill . What was the reason for the covered bridges ? Something to do with horses maybe ? Thanks for the pics, cheers. | |

| You do have an eye for fascinating road signs!! Makes me want to start my GRiSO, cross the border and discover these areas. Thanks a lot for posting!

| Thanks to all. It's fun to do those. And that particular ride will, I think, stay in my memory as one of my best -- and possibly the best -- day ride ever. Near nonstop joy. Kathi comes back tomorrow, and we may repeat that route, possibly in reverse, on Wednesday aboard the Norge. I promise not to post (too many) more pix. As for covered bridges, waterbottle, more to protect the taxpayers or other owners than horses. See [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Bill | |

| Great, Bill. I have to wonder though how you manage to cover so many miles in a single stretch of daylight when you stop as often as you do to take pictures! | |

| Just lovely Bill. Nothing like the countryside in Fall. It's what motorcycles are made for. Thanks for sharing. | |
