| You need to take the back off and check it has been rollerised. Early versions used flat movements that led to running problems & time keeping issues. The watch suppliers have never owned up to the problem & you will have to send the watch to Italy when it breaks, as it surely will. Depending on the year you will need either an A, B or C kit to fix it :-)

The problem with this watch is the designers thought they could save money by using a special 'DLC' (Disastrous Lame Coating) finish on the bearing surfaces instead of the traditional and expensive jewel bearings used in quality watches. Now this is fine on most bike riders wrists, Harley, Triumph, Kawasaki etc, but unfortunately GRiSO riders are HOT (ask any chick) which causes the DLC finish to flake off, jamming and damaging the other watch parts. As long as you don't use the watch, and just mount it on a stand in the living room, you'll be ok  | |

| Me too ! Works great out of box ( well plastic zip bag..what do you expect for $20). Now have shed watch. If it gets the same high idle as the tenni has at the moment it'll be christmas in a fortnight... | My good wife purchased one (just Moto Guzzi) some years ago for $1. Worked quite well until the battery went flat. Took it to the watch battery place and they replaced it, but were most upset when the thing started to go backwards. I just laughed, got them to remove the battery and moved on. For that price, what could you expect?
