3 weeks ago i did the rollerisation. Changed the filter and oil, set the valves to 0,10 and 0,15. Also Installed k&n air filter and using mu custom open exhaust.

Things i haven't done: New spark plugs, new ecu maps, NO TB balance.

After all this, i have done 800kms and it worked pretty good, besides some gap around 4,200-4,400 rpm, and high backfiring at 2,500.

This morning filled the tank with 100octane as usual, and washed the bike. After that i went to work and did 10-12km around town. When i took the bike to go home, i experienced the following:

1. Starting the bike it rews at 1150 for few sec, than droping to 800.
2. If i add theottle at neutral it goes to 2,000 than back to 800 and engine shuts down.
3. If i try to run in 1st gear, it requires much more throttle than usuall.
4. When i try to ride, in 1st gear, with full throttle its like 10km/h and no power.
5. I may smell some petrol and the ride side a bit noisy ( but this might be paranoya).

Any thoughts ?

That rock strainer "filter" and open exhaust are surely wreaking havoc on the stock, closed loop, mapping.

Reflash the ECU with an open loop map that might be a good fit for your setup.  If your going to run the stock map, you'd be better off going back to a stock paper filter and an exhaust fitted with a dB killer at the very least.  Even then, performance will improve with a proper map.

Sounds like it's running on one cylinder. Check the plug caps, chances are one is arcing to earth, (Take the plug lead covers off and start it in a dark or poorly lit environment, you'll be able to both see and hear the spark snapping to earth, or you'd be able to if you had a decent air filter and exhaust system!)

Rock strainer filters DON'T WORK! Put a decent paper one in. Loud pipes are counter productive.

Check the fuel pump hose by removing the tank cap and switching the ignition on. If you see swirling, you will need to replace it.

Solved! Plug caps were ok, but wire on the left cilinder was damaged...i have done a mistake and positioned badly when i did the rollerisation. The cap has pressed it to the rocker cover really tight.

Using 5ohms caps and wire from Audi, but i ordered 2 ngk straight caps and new wire. Also, i ordered oem air filter as advised by Pete.
Sold the k&n already to a Aprilia guy.. and hey, i made 5$ profit Smile)
