Angeles Crest Meetup

I just finished another ride with a different meetup group.
And this was a GOOD one.
Just the right pace - sporty but not insane.

We started out at Starbucks in Sunland, Ca at 8349 Foothill Blvd, Sunland then rode up to
Big Tujunga Canyon Rd to
Angeles Forest Highway to
Angeles Crest (Hwy 2) to Newcombs

Yes, I was the only Guzzi. But there was an Aprilia Mille too.
My wife and I kept on Angeles Crest from Newcombs to Wrightwood even tho the sign said "Chains required"
Yes, there was a lot of sow on the hillside and a lot of rockfalls in the road so the demon apex blitzing was NOT happening but there was NO snow on the road and we did get thru to Wrightwood without any incidence. Yay!!

My GRiSO felt pretty good pushing into sweepers so I had a great ride. I was still in the back of the pack tho. The only other guy behind me was riding a big block Harley.
He did a very good job hustling that pig thru twisties but he was the only guy I could stay in front of.
Those FJ1200s and Kawi 650 twins just left me. Yes, the Mille too (go figure).

I definitely want to ride Big Tujunga and Angeles Forest more. Any damn time I can get away.
Anyone in the area get the hint??

Yes, I am on the WildGuzzi ride tomorrow. Same vicinity maybe????
