| Hi there! Found just recently this "special" forum after joining yet several other forums like wild goose, guzzitech a.o. Nice to see again some people here (i have the strange feeling that i'm somehow on the trail of Pete + Paul and some other guys …). However, pictures will tell more than 1000 words, so take this f.y.i.: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]See you on the road, Dietrich | |

| Thank you guys! I'm very pleased to give you further infos. The screen is from MRA (GRiSO 1100 - Roadshield "RO"): [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]tinted in - guess what - yellow. They have universal and customized mounting solutions for a lot of bikes. Generally the screen holders are clamped on the handlebar (which is not a very sophisticated solution imo) but in my case i reinterpret the stuff a little bit using the blank holes of the obsolete raisers: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Ooooh! Ooooh! Ooooh! Look at those clip-ons!!!!! Yummmmmmmm!!!!! How far up are your forks? 5th line? 6th? Mine are at the 5th. Which means I think I have enough room to put on those clip-ons. maybe. DM | |

| Dietrich Thanks for the info on the screen And good thinking using the old handle bar mounts. I have a black 2006 2V but agree with garyclem that is the best colour I have seen.

… How far up are your forks? 5th line? 6th? … DM Earnestly? I forgot it … most likely 1 more line than original. Bike is handy but i feel in in slow curves the front tire a little "wobbling or folding" (dunno the right english description) so i will go back to start when next alteration is scheduled. The clip-ons are under the top fork bridge! Only mounting rings for the lamp holder are above: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Clip-ons sold/machined by DÄS, Germany ("Lenker/Lenkerstummel"): [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| ahhhh. Thanks for the link. Now that you showed how they mount under the fork they look like the way Aprilia Falco bars mount. Which also use the same forks as the GRiSO. I can get the Aprilia Falco bars from Texs for $140. each. I am guessing that is pbobably less than getting the ones from Germany tho. I will find out. | |
