| HeyGuys, Just picked up an Orange 1200se yesterday. Not my first Guzzi I have a Cali III and a LM 1000 ultimate Edition as well. What can I say I am hooked on the Guzzis.
Still a bit early to make and informed decision on the GRiSO yet but it has been a want to own one since they first came out. Glad I found this forum because I like to service them myself and this forum looks like a wealth of info.
cheers Rob | |

| Welcome to the ghetto. I’m new to the GRiSO also. If yours is new, keep a watchful eye for cross threaded fasteners, pinched hoses, and kinked wiring [specifically under the fuel tank]. My initial impression is that it’s a fantastically designed bike but seems to have been assembled by some half-whit derelicts at the factory who were hired as temporary day labors who take no pride in their workmanship. Rant over. As someone once said, once you get past the little issues that need sorting out, it’s a great bike. All told, I’d buy mine again knowing what I know now. Congrats and enjoy. | |

| Thanks Guys. Yes I know that Guzzi would have me believe it is Red but sorry I'm not buying it. It is Orange. My LM1000 is red. I don't like to complicate things.
Absolutely crap day in Brisbane today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for a ride and will get some pics then.
cheers | |

| Speaking of the "Beetle Orange" beast, have we had a recent update on performance yet? | |

Well if you like that saying, a mate describes Bella as, "stumbling for the gutter like a drunk" (interpretation: it turns in well) But apart from that, compared to the Bat Beetlemobile it's as slow as a wet week, and BobR can relate to that. What suburb you in Bob? I'm in Coopers Plains. Tony, found another black sport owner this week, Mike wotzizname (Howell?) Encouraged him to join here. (no dead ants, I checked) |

| Gregg, you need to get on here more often and actually read the posts. Have a look at my signature for a start!
Where I park at work seems to be a meeting place for little black ants, and Black Betty, being black and all, seems to be an extension of their lives - maybe a big black ant, well she is a girl so might be mistaken for a queen.
Anyway, after a day sitting in the sun, and said little black ants exploring Black Betty, some of them find refuge in the dash area. Specifically inside the dash. Being that this is not an ant hill, per se, they then find they cannot navigate to the proper ant hill (nest, or whatever - what is an ant's nest called?). I ride off with captives on board, and most of them get a good old blow job as I get up to speed and get left on or near the roadside.
Some of their brethren, still held captive inside the dash, meet up with some of the pioneers there that have long since turned brown (the only time they move is when the dash vibrates so some life left in them yet) and they too, get to be properly desiccated inside the dash. These are the ones I can see, there are probably heaps in the back of the dash.
One day, I will see if a queen managed to get in there. When I do, I will make little ant screens (like fly screens, but tailored specifically to little black ants) and so will rectify the natural tendencies of these little black ants to go to what they see as their rightful mother!

| Dear Tony, you are right, I should get out more, socialise and things like that ! Now I understand, have you tried putting a little bit of Antrid in your dash or spraying the side of the tyres with an insect surface spray ? At least they aren't black bullants I spose ! Sent from Topic'it App | |

That's because its orange, you know it is, i know it its, anyone looking at it knows that too, but MG marketing think that Orange is the new Red
