First ride after initial service. Redline through the gears. Front wheel pops up about 4" in second, about 2 in 3rd, 141mph, still pulling strong and had to slow for traffic. I like!!

I remember finding the "fine print" in my Ducati handbook, the original 1100 Hypermotard was speed limited to an actual (true) 200k/h. But the speedo also had an 8% correction (bullshit) factor, so it hit the wall at an indicated 216k/h.
Wonder how many other bikes need 8% of bullshit to have a reasonable level of performance?

It must be true, I wrote it on the internet.
Soo... its a bit down on power then..? Maybe you dont have enough back pressure from your current exhaust..

Good thinking. I will add a power commander & FatDuc. I will also hammer a potato into the dB killer to increase back pressure.

I did 220kmh on the German highway this weekend, well, that's what the speedo said was at 7000rpm orso, had some left, but my helmet started to shake too bad. fastest i've ever done
but fuck top speed. nothing like opening the throttle fully while coming out of a corner till just before the rev limiter and hear her roaarrrrrrr

oh don't worry, the German highways are wide, long and straight, plus there was no traffic, oh and no speed limit on that bit
140 kmh is doable for hours, but above that wind becomes a bit of a thing for me so i gotta reposition myself on the bike, not too comfy, so 220kmh ain't pleasant on that thing
