It appears the cloth coated hose that runs from the oil vent box all the way over the engine down to return to the oil pan in the back is weeping where the hose goes into the hard metal fitting.  I looked at my local dealer and AF1 racing and they are saying maybe next spring.  If anyone knows another supplier who might have this modern guzzi part (Ive never had much luck with Harpers) or a workaround would be much appreciated.

That hose seems to be problematic. I have a post running, ( [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ) for a leak at the opposite end of that hose. Petes advice to me was remove the hose, take it to a shop and explain the issue and have them replace the rubber hose to the metal end. several people also commented not to get the Moto Guzzi part as it is likely old from sitting on a shelf and will be dry and likely to leak soon.

I have used a hydraulic hose repair service over here in Winder , GA

You cut the metal collar where hose meets metal line & slide off the pipe.
Get a bio-fuel line & have it crimped w/new collar.
You can slide that cloth off and put it on the new hose if you like.
Do it when you need to change oil, it all runs out. OR get a plug stopper.

I'm glad I asked, thanks for the heads up.

I'm in Atlanta, who in Winder did the work for you? Maybe I can find an excuse to go get drunk jn Athens.
