Tail tidy for £10.00 GBP.

Being a tight old sod I did not want to spend £90 on a shop bought tail tidy. I did some research and found this bracket on Ebay for £7.89. It has a selection of holes with two fitting perfectly when the mudguard is removed. I think the spacing and angle look perfect. I then added a small led number plate lamp (£2 from Ebay) and cut the wire tidy from the original set up to tidy it all up. The only thing I had to change was to space the indicators out to give the room to accommodate the number plate.

Nice job & well spent ....FWIW you don't actually need the licence plate light - I ditched it when I fitted tail tidy - as in many things around MOT there's no actual requirement for one BUT if you have one fitted they will fail it if the bulb isn't working . Same applies to things like indicators, hazard warning lights etc..

I did not realise that but it does give the plate a very secure fitting as those plastic bolts always seem to strip after a while.

Nicely done. It's really too bad you guys have to have such ginormous plates, though.
