| O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! Yes, I'm chortling in my joy. I'm now allowed to walk without the bloody CAM boot. As much as I can bear, at least. Still not allowed to drive for another week. Yay! | |

| I am now completely free of the boot, and am allowed to drive again. Well, mostly. Mrs Beetle is slightly horrified by the thought. Doc says I shouldn't leave town by myself... I'm allowed to return to work for 4 hours a day for 3 days a week for starters. The Rehab peeps and work's OHS peeps are plotting my return. Unfortunately, I still have something wonky in my knee. I'm to have an MRI soonest and further surgery next month. The top screws will be removed, and and a knee arthroscope will be performed. That'll mean more time off work, and I fear, no riding until March. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| All good signs of healing. Do as Dr says it'll be fine.
Me, I had 2 screws in my ankle and a cast in 88. I couldn't get my Cal2 out of the barn and no one would help me. After 2 weeks I got it out myself, one hop at a time. Had to get a new cast the next week. Dr asked me if I been riding cause the bottom was ground off, I lied. The next one held up, it was twice as thick. Heel toe shifter worked great. Cars stay away when they see crutches across the back seat. | |

| Another GRiSO crash causes owner to get implants. I have a titanium plate over my collar bone (wouldn't heal on its' own). Had an extra surgery to remove a screw that was not loctited in. Still between crashes. Sorry to miss all the fun but glad to hear you are on the mend. | |

| Me too. I had one screw sitting 10mm proud of the bone. Had all four screws removed yesterday. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
