| A used spare tail, the tiny Rizoma LED, a hacksaw and some pop rivets and a new tail emerged. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]... and a ride with the EF28 map made it a perfect day. Svein | |

| Quick question? Are the indicators in their original spot still? Just asking because I fear my 'Tail Tidy' arrangement may foul the pannier set-up I have on order because of the indicator location. I really don't mind my current set up but if it is a problem with the panniers I'll need to find an alternative and that looks very nice.

| I'm pretty sure it's on the same spot Pete, as he started his cutting below the indicators line...
Svein, good job Sir. Good thinking.

Correct, it is the same bracket at the original spot. The plastic still is quite sturdy, so no problemo. Svein

| I went the harder way with my now departed 09... I made a metal support from scratch that accept the stock signals in the same location pretty much. I still have that piece but didn't bolt it on my 2013 yet. Ben lazy... | |

| Come test it on Bitumen X, it'll soon loosen those rivets. My custom mudguard needs re-welding .................. again.
Just noticed my headers are cracked it the 2-1 junction. |

My backup plan involves bucking an aluminium thin plate at work to hold the license plate. Still possible to make a through bolted connection behind the indicator bracket using countersunk from the inside. Trying to look on the brigth side, a cracked header would open the possibilities of getting something new and expensive, titanium maybe? Sorry, hope you get it fixed all right! Or the obvious solution; go for a GRiSO Svein

| Unfortunately the cracked headers are my satin black ceramic coated custom made exhaust system. |
