New from Italy !

Hi Everybody,
I come from Italy and I live not far from Mandello del Lario, about 100km far from there: at Lodi.
Unfortunately, like many other bikers, I have little time to ride my GRiSO 1200 8V, due to the usual family commitments, but those few times I enjoy so much !
I use it also on track and it behaves much better than what you can think of...
I've just read on this fantastic forum the correct procedure to allign the throttle bodies and next days I will do it.

Yes, that first photo alone made me feel unworthy. The only time I've leaned my GRiSO over that far was in a low-sider. Embarassed

Sorry, I've not said that my name is Carlo... "Tazio Nuvolari" is the track where the pic was shot (near Pavia, not far from my home).

The beauty of this bike is exactly this one: you can go fast, you can go slow... anyway and everytime is a joy to ride !

Here in Italy the local Motorcycle federation (FMI) has organized for several years a "vintage trofeo" in which many old glories challenge each others on track. There are many categories. In particular there is the "gentleman cup" in which you can use all the Twin air cooled bikes, also Ducati and others brands and also "modern" bike like our GRiSO. In this case it's a "regularity competition", though many riders go fast and don't care about regolarity...
I have participated in some competititions and it's so adrenaline !
Unfortunately my time is very limited so I had to give up.
Anyway, you can see many GRiSO go very very fast on track during this date !

If you want to use it on track you HAVE to remove the side stand... I tried with it and every left bend was a bet...
And when the stand is removed, you will touch with the footpegs.
And when you have mounted a "backward" ones, you will begin to touch with the pipes... Very Happy
