I took my SE to a place in Sydney that the bike originally came to Pete from for its 10,000 km service and they found that the spokes were loose on the front wheel and it was losing a little air, around 5psi over a week and a half or so. Once they tightened the spokes I haven't really had a problem.

I've had no pressure loss on the front. Circlips? I've just assumed, but never checked. I was losing pressure in the rear for a time, that was a bum nipple seal. Replaced it and all has been gravy since then.

Circlips front and rear. Over 48 hrs not easy to say, over 14 days a couple of PSI front and rear. The old front tire was leaking but when the new tires came on it stopped.

thanks for the replys, on the clip ? I saw them on the parts diagram but we all know that is 100% right just like the torque values in the service manual. on the pressure i've had either really good just like cast, really bad with the alpina system...and it has been mostly great. was really looking for general losses a few 2-4 lbs a week is what I consider normal.

I check every day before I leave (it is kind of a ritual that sets my mind for the ride, I also look at brake pad thickness and the tread for wear and for something stuck in it and cuts)

I know about the half dozen bikes besides mine i do the routine serv. on but only 2 of them are spoked
