If you are asking because the service sheet says it has 'replacement cams & followers per warranty'; a lot of failed bikes just got replacement flats before they went to rollerisation for all failures (sometimes with other bits changed - mine was in this bracket).

BTW I remember you roughly can tell if they are very badly worn when the follower tops drop below the guide level (or above as can't remember exactly) of the guide...it's all here somewhere
