| Pick the odometer you want to reset, press the button for a long time (long press, a few seconds) and voila! Mileage reset. Technology is wonderful, innit? | |

| Fuel level sensor is a thermistor strip attached to the fuel pump. You can check its functionality with a multimeter.
Measure across pins 3 & 4.
250-300 ohms is 0 litres (empty) 100 ohms is approx 11.25 litres 10-20 ohms is > 16 litres (full)
Fuel light comes on at approximately 230 ohms. The sensor is not available separately from the fuel pump assembly.

Glad it fixed itself. The sensor that beetle refered to can be repaired for about $5-10. I did it on my Breva.

| That's a bonus feature.
I don't recall the manual mentioning that.

| Mine usually does around 110 miles before the fuel warning light is on. With current UK prices I get £16 in the tank when the light first illuminates. Fuel sensors don't like sulphur in fuel - try to avoid budget / supermarket petrol where possible. A fuel system cleaner can help with sensors in the tank. In the UK Esso 97 is currently ethanol free (still has E5 on the pump handle). | |

did 110 miles yesterday still no fuel light thanks for all the help Steve b Was the bike sitting for a while? I was wondering if varnish built up on the rheostat so it lost contact (>300 Ohms) and it's worn off with use fixing itself.
