That was one of the premium LeMans mods of the 80s - came just after gear driven cams!!
I only rode one and the poor carburetion made it un-remarkable
They were apparently noticeably better on the track

Lightening the steel flywheels used on the 1100’s is difficult as they are already about as light as they can be. You could probably get a bit out of the ring gear if you slotted it.
The 1200 clutch assembly would be a bit more of a challenge but since I like a bit of flywheel I’ve never tried. They spin up fine as far as I’m concerned. Maybe Ron has tried on his track bike?

Except from the possible positive effect in engine revving, do you believe a ligheter flywheel could improve flickability of the bike? I mean, easier direction change???

But buying a KR1S would give you more flickability
